Hi, I’m Amanda, the owner of Wild Garden Weddings. Beagle mom, lover of flowers, dancing, music, and tacos!
I hold a degree in Event Management from the University of Central Florida. After 10 years of corporate event planning with Disney, the University of Florida, and the City of Gainesville, a good friend reached out in 2021 for help with her wedding. She wanted to scrap everything and elope! We spent a few meetings working together to organize her files and tie up loose ends. She was so relieved and excited to see her vision come together, and I felt like I had found my calling. Six months later, their wedding day was a magical evening under stars!
With years of experience in bartending, food service, photography, florals, design, logistics, and a deep connection to capturing special moments, it only made sense to transition from
corporate planning to weddings!

I’m the Wedding Assistant for Wild Garden Weddings. I met Amanda during a friend's wedding where I was a guest and she was the coordinator. During the reception, we talked about what a planner does and we immediately clicked! A few weeks later, my friend asked Amanda if she needed an assistant, and we have been inseparable ever since! My favorite thing about weddings is the attention to detail and fun that you have during setup and the party. Finding little ways to bring joy to our clients when they see the final result is so rewarding!
I love to learn! I’m currently in school at University of South Florida to get my Chemistry degree, but previously was an astrophysics major so I love anything math and science related. I love to travel, as I’ve visited more than 10 countries, and 8 different states. I have a sister who runs a catering company in Italy and I get to visit them every year. I also love design and creating an aesthetic. Weddings are a great opportunity to explore my creative side!
